Hey! I'm Mandie!
I'm Mandie! I'm a hopeless romantic, an old soul, and a 3rd culture kid. I'm married to my college sweetheart, Zachary, and we've been inseparable ever since we first met during orientation week our freshman year of college! Everything that I do in life is for my family! And I absolutely love what I do!
I also love good books, dark chocolate, red wine, foggy days, and exploring our beautiful State of Michigan. When I'm not photographing or filming weddings, you'll probably find me at home snuggling on the couch with my pups, binge-watching Netflix, or planning my next travel adventure with a cup of coffee in hand. That, or a cup of tea (with a shot of Irish Honey Whiskey, of course).
My filming style is documentary and romantic, mostly that means that my wedding films are bright, true-to-life, and timeless! An accurate reflection of your wedding day!
Wedding videography is so often overlooked in the wedding planning process. It's also the #1 thing brides regret not having on their wedding day. My bride values romantic, timeless video of herself & her new groom, and she wants more than just some ceremony coverage. She wants a handcrafted film and a gorgeous documentary of one of the most important days of her life!
Style aside, the most important part of having me as your videographer is the experience, the fun, and the results that every #ForbesCouple feels when they look back at their day through their film.

Adding on a second shooter for your wedding day allows us to film from more angles and capture even more gorgeous footage to document your once-in-a-lifetime day!

Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A VideoGRAPHER?
A: I've been obsessed with photography since I was about 7 years old, and have always been in love with documenting moments and life's stories. But it wasn't until after I got married myself in 2016 that I filmed my first wedding and fell in love with film making, in addition to photography. One of the big reasons that I started filming weddings was because I regretted not having a videographer myself. It's one of my biggest regrets from my own wedding!
Q: HOW MANY WEDDINGS do you book a year?
A: Personally, I only take about 25 weddings each year so that I can make sure I give each and every of my couples an amazing experience.
Q: DO I NEED A SECOND VideoGRAPHER?
A: It depends --- if the bride and groom are getting ready in different locations and you want footage of both OR you want your big moments captured from multiple angles OR if you have a really large wedding venue that would be difficult to move between two areas quickly then I would recommend a second videographer. Otherwise, I have personally filmed many of my weddings solo and every couple I've worked with has been 100% happy. Q: WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT FILM EDITS?
A: Documentary Edits from your wedding day are longer, chronological films of your entire day: a Ceremony Edit includes your full ceremony, and a Reception Edit includes all of the highlights from your reception (grand entrance, toasts, first dances, cake cutting, etc).
Q: When should i book you?
A: Prime wedding dates tend to book out for me between 9-12 months ahead of time, so I recommend booking as soon as you have your wedding date set in stone to insure that I'm available on your date.
Q: DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are 50% due at the time of booking and the final 50% is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING DAY?
A: Love that question the most! Your wedding date is officially booked after you pay your initial retainer & sign your contract. To book me for your special day, simply let me know what Signature Collection you'd like to book or if you prefer to build a package A-La-Carte simply let me know what you want included in your custom collection: (Number of hours of coverage, additional films, second videographer or none, and what payment plan option works best for you).

Q: DO YOU OFFER DRONE FOOTAGE?
A: I do offer drone footage! Drone footage is included for all my weddings *if possible*. I always try to get some drone footage for your Highlight Film: * if we have time during your wedding day, *if the weather cooperates, and *if it's legal (aka...your wedding/reception location isn't located in a Federal No-Fly Zone).
Q: Do You Travel?
A: Yes! I grew up traveling all over the world and have continued to travel as an adult! I'm fluent in Spanish if you want to get married in a Spanish-speaking country, but honestly, I'm down to go anywhere! I'm absolutely in love with Paris and all of France. Scotland and Ireland are some of the most magical places on the planet, and I'd go back in a heartbeat anytime! Elopement on the Isle of Skye, anyone? Pick a destination! I'm your girl!
Q: Are you Licensed and insured?
A: Absolutely! I'm a registered LLC business with the State of Michigan and am fully insured!
Q: How long does it take to get our videos back?
A: Your full wedding video collection (Handcrafted Film, Ceremony Edit, Reception Edit) will be delivered in 90 days or less. However, I typically have your handcrafted film finished and featured on my blog between 5-6 weeks after your wedding day. I know how hard it is to wait for your films after your wedding day, so I'm always working hard to get the final, edited films back to you as quickly as possible!

The experience you have on your wedding day means everything. And when booking me as your wedding videographer, I feel that quality should be equally as paramount as the experience when working together. I want you to be smiling, laughing, and feeling at ease throughout the entire process. I want you to trust in me 100%, and I want us to be friends. I'll be celebrating with you every step of the way.
The experience is so important as well for personal reasons as well. After all, your wedding videographer is one of the people who will by your side more than any other person on your wedding day (other than your husband/wife, of course)! So, hiring a videographer who's work you love and will cherish forever, but also has a fun, outgoing attitude is so important - and that's exactly what you get with me. And not to worry - I'm experienced working with your photographer, I will work with them to help you keep on track with your schedule on your wedding day, and will I be cracking jokes with you all day long. Simply, we will have so much FUN together with everything along the way. And that's the way it should be.
As your videographer, it's also about the results you receive at the end of the day. Your films will tell your wedding story. And when you receive your wedding day films, I want you to relive your wedding day through them. You will be able to see and rewatch all the beautiful details, the energy, and the pure joy from your wedding day over and over again. Every time you watch your films, you will remember those most special moments in your life time and time again.
I'll be filming details throughout your wedding day, capturing the raw emotions, and documenting the events as they naturally unfold. Everything will be amazing, incredible, gorgeous, and fun.

This gallery allows you to store your videos online for safe-keeping and download all of your High Definition videos. You'll also be able to share your entire collection with anyone you'd like with just a click of a button.
